Working within the community to help anyone struggling with mental health strengthening their body, mind, and spirit. To focus on how we can make tomorrow feel better than today.
Foundation
SRW is a nonprofit organization founded in memory of Samantha Renee Washington born in 1984 who was a Mother, Daughter, Veteran ,Writer, Dreamer, and Bipolar. Samantha struggled with bipolar disorder her whole life and on October 24 2020 she lost her battle Samantha died by suicide. Samantha believed the key to managing her mental health was having a healthy spirit. In 2020 at the height of the pandemic loneliness and isolation made her condition much worse.The precautions put in place due to Covid sheds light on the dangerous affects depression and other mental disorders can have on the human spirit . This foundation is dedicated to her , we will work with other organizations to provide resources to improve the quality of life for those suffering

Hi, I am the mother of Samantha Renee Washington and founder of the organization. After loosing my daughter so tragically my grief turned into depression. Although life will never be the same without her thanks to the therapy I received I'm now able to appreciate my own. Therapy and staying connected within my community helped me, now it's time for me to give back and help others.
